You have 30 days to notify your employer of your injury. However, I recommend that anyone that sustains an injury to immediately notify their employer and seek medical treatment. After the injury, you have one year from the date of accident to file your DBA claim. In certain cases you have two years, but in those cases you only have one year from the date of accident or one year from the last date compensation has been paid.
